The VM won't run on a VMware Server 1.0.6 installation. It returns a "Configuration file was created by a VMware product with more features than this version" error when you try to open the VMX file. Aparently the VM was created in VMware Workstation 6, so everyone else is out of luck. This makes the appliance pointless for anything other than testing as you'd deploy on VMware Server or ESX.
