This appliance is great, in any sense.
Before it I tried to install Debian4 in a VM and this destroyed the boot or the partition table of my notebook. Now with this 3GB appliance, I installed successfully XAMPP, MDBtools and Firebird.
Till now the only problem was that I could not have VirtualBox running into it, asking to run [/etc/init.d/vboxdrv setup] each machine creation, as well as user or root. I am trying to install it in an eeepc900 as well.
I need a portable implementation to test some programs in PHP using interbase/firebird compatible with a Debian 4 server.
