I'm attempting to debug my Visual Studio 2013 application in a virtual machine using the Visual Studio plugin, but the configuration options for the plugin require a path to the *.vmx file of the virtual machine, and the browse button for that path only shows my local disks. The *.vmx file isn't on my local disks, it's on a datastore on the ESXi server that hosts it. Is it possible to use the Visual Studio plugin to connect to this VM or is it impossible because the VM isn't on the local disk? I can connect to the VM from the Workstation application, just not from the Visual Studio plugin.
