Fusion and Sierra, 'Second Screen' problems.

Hi,

I'm using the latest Fusion version and recently installed Mac OS Sierra. I have a VM with Windows Server 2012 installed and it ran fine on El Captain but now when I try to use a second screen it shows the display in the 'Screen Resolution' Control panel but it doesn't activate this second screen. This is not always the case. Sometimes it happily extends to this second screen but most of the times it doesn't.

Another weird thing I noticed is that when I go to full screen, and I move my mouse to the top of the screen, only the Fusion menu appears and not the Ribbon with the tools and the windows options like 'minimise' and others.

I also saw some posts about Fusion crashing on Sierra. That actually also happened to me once.

Versions used:

- Fusion: 8.5.0, 4352717

- MacOS Sierra: 10.12

Thanks,

Hans

Apple enabled Tab support for windows in macOS 10.12.

The default settings is "In Full Screen Only", it will collect the two full screen spaces onto one display as tabs.

You could change the tab settings like this:

Open System Preferences -> Dock, there is a dropdown list named "Prefer tabs when opening documents".

Select "Manually" in it.
