Linked Clones powered off after Recompose, Rebalance

Hello,

we've got a pool (linked clones) with Windows 7 32bit Golden Image. VMware View Version 5.0.

Alfer a recompose or rebalance the linked clones don't start up. They are powered off.

Just when a user want to log in on a desktop, the vm will get started.

In View Manager - Provisioning Settings, we configured:

MAX Desktops: 5

Spare Powered On: 3

Provision up to front: YES

Somebody any idea?

Hello,

       What do you have set in your pool's "Remote Desktop Power Policy"?  I think default is "Take no power action" but I use the setting "Ensure desktops are always powered on" as I've experienced just as you have that after certain operations the desktops may remain powered off until a user requests their desktop; then they have to wait for startup.
