Incorrect Last RUN time - DRS

Hi ,

we are getting an incorrect date  ( Last year date and time ) and time for DRS Last run time.

This happens only in the webclient . But the activity log displays correct date and time .

Did anyone else also face this issue .

Any help will be appreciated .

Please check all Hosts Time Configuration are the same and also compare with the vCenter Server.

This happens only in the webclient

This could suggest either you have a timezone in your webclient system and your vc is not. OR you have configured ntp in your vc and not in your system of webclient

I have checked the time configuration of all the hosts. Apprently all have the same time .

Also the VC server also has same NTP source .

The last DRS time is constant - ie 12-19-2012  4.19 PM

I have opened the Web client in the VC server .

I understand now what you mean !

It is on the "Recommendations" page and it says "DRS was last run on : DD/MM/YYYY HH:MM". There is a button called "Run DRS Now" and if you click on it it updates the Date and Time.

If this is what you mean, then it is a "manual" and not the automated DRS functionality. The Date and Time is just telling you when you last "manually" ran the check for Recommendations and NOT when an automated DRS migration of a VM happened. If I click on RUN DRS in the web client nothing Happens. I can see a task in running tab , but it vanishes /Finished in less than a second and the time is still the same.

But in the vsphere windows client I can see the correct date and time.
