Brocade 8Gig HBA Adapter

Hi,

recenter i have installed Brocade Storage Adapter on vSphere ESXi 5, but i am unable to find it. I want to know how can i install drivers afte installation of vSphere or during installation.

You generally dont need to, especially on ESXi5.  if the card is supported, drivers will be included.

If you DO need a driver, the driver will be listed next to the card on the HCL (www.vmware.com/go/hcl)

I have tested that this HBA drivers are not there, i can't see this in Storage Adapters, i replaced it with Qlogic (4Gig) HBA and this is working.

is there any way to install drivers of Brocade HBA 8Gig? i have downloaded the vSphere-5 drivers from brocade support.

I'd recommend you use the official driver package from the VMware site at VMware ESXi 5.0 Driver for Brocade HBAs and CNA

This package contains a readme.txt with instructions for the installation.
