Esxected read/write speed on SAN CX300

Could anybody let me know what they get (speedwise) on VM located on CX300 SAN for Windows NTFS disks?

I have 2 LUNs - 509Gb & 1.04 Tb

Using CrystalDiskMark I get the following results:

VMFS02 1.04 Tb

CrystalDiskMark 2.1 (C) 2007-2008 hiyohiyo
Crystal Dew World : http://crystalmark.info/

Sequential Read : 133.364 MB/s
Sequential Write : 23.846 MB/s
Random Read 512KB : 108.473 MB/s
Random Write 512KB : 19.081 MB/s
Random Read 4KB : 2.108 MB/s
Random Write 4KB : 0.316 MB/s

Test Size : 50 MB
Date : 2008/07/18 20:58:33

VMFS01 509.5 Gb

CrystalDiskMark 2.1 (C) 2007-2008 hiyohiyo

Sequential Read : 148.524 MB/s
Sequential Write : 4.825 MB/s

To me thay are (especially the smaller LUN) simply BAD

As I am not a storage guy (I just do it all) I would appreciate any help with the issue

Hi Scerazy.

There are no cx300 figures in the follow performance thread, but it would be worth running the included IOmeter test pattern to lodge your numbers and compair with other models.
