Not sure what you mean online? I am just running windows update from within windows explorer. I goes through the process and then just give the notice that it was unable to install updates. When I restart xp it states it is updating and windows will auto restart. After it restarts it has not installed the updates. It just keeps going in this loop of not installing. No error in the logs or anywhere. The logs only state that it has updates that are ready to install. It will just not install them.
