Hello,

I need to get my smartcard reader work for the university. This USB device works fine under 1.1, but isn´t detected under 2.0. I also reinstalled drivers but it still doesn´t work. I woudn´t prefer to go back to 1.1 if there were a possibility to get this work under 2.0. The Device name is SCM Microsystems SCR 33xx. Thanks for your help in advance.

Greetings Felix.

USB smart card readers not available in 2.0 Beta 1?

Try adding the following line to the .vmx config file (see A Beginner's Guide to VMware Fusion if you need help locating this):
usb.generic.allowCCID = "TRUE"

It only worked partially. Now I can see some USB devices like data traveler, but not my USB dongle that I need to use with a program.
