In all my physical servers, I have dual NIC's. DUring conversion VMWare Converter asks how many NICS you would like to have, which I specify to 2. When I finish converting a W2K3 machine I get two new NIC's. If i try configuring the old IP's on the new NIC's I get a message saying that these IP's are already configured on other NIC's of this machine. But I cant see the other NIC's

Where are they and how can I use them or remove them?

Thanks in advance.

you receive a warning that your ip address is already in use but it's working.

There is another method not so good such the first:

Open your registry windows vm and serach for HKLM\Syste\CurrentControlSet\Services\Tcpip\Parameters and find you originally NIC in Adapters and in Interface.

For secure, save this subkey first and then remove it

look this http://communities.vmware.com/message/853389#853389 and this http://communities.vmware.com/message/832978#832978

bye Alberto
