Does your Office download include clipart and other nonsense? What about the core installer for the core apps. This is what I mentioned in my original message.

170Mb. Wow.

170Mb. Wow.

AFAIC it just doesn't matter what size the file is... If I need it I download it. Its has been that way from the very first time I connected to a computer beyond my own.

As far as Microsoft Products I just login to MSDN and select what I need and let the download manager do it's thing, so it just doesn't matter what size the file is I'm downloading.

If you're on a dial-up connection then yes a 170 MB file seems big and depending on your speed, say between 56 ~ 36.6 Kb it takes 8 ~ 12 hours. Well, I remember back when all I has was dial-up and downloading bigger files then that and have my phone line tied up for days sometimes but I never let it stop me. Nowadays it's just not an issues or me as that 170 MB didn't take much time at all and didn't stop me from doing other things at the same time. YMMV

I recently installed the 1.1.2 Build 87978 update, yet when I run VM Fusion, and check the version, it still reports 1.1.1. Have I not installed the update correctly?
The virtual machine runs fine for what I use it for -- copying DVD's. Anyone else having this issue? My "about this" version still says 1.1.1.

It should say 1.1.2 if you've installed Fusion correctly. I would quit Fusion, uninstall, possibly reboot, and install 1.1.2.

Also, if you copied the Fusion application somewhere else (say your Desktop), don't do that - use an alias instead.
