Macbook
CPU 2.4ghz
Mem 4gb
Disk 160gb
OS Mac OS X 10.5.2

VM Fusion 1.1.1 (72241)
Guest Windows XP Pro SP2

When I first setup Fusion I pre-allocated all of the 20gb of disk space. How can I increase the size of the drive to say 30gb?

THANKS

Have a look at Resizing a Virtual Disk for Windows Guests with Step by Step Instructions. Alternatives include adding a second hard disk or using Shared Folders for data files.

For whatever reason VM Fusion does not allow me to add a drive. When I
select Hard disk and click the plus sign the only thing enabled is
Shared Folders.

You have to shutdown the virtual machine first (i.e. Virtual machine > Shutdown Guest or so)

I had tried changing the drive with the guest shutdown but not with
the guest window still open. That did the trick. I may still go the
route of changing the drive size but at least now I have options.

Thank you for your help and quick response.
