Share Local Storage

Hi All,

I have 3 ESX 3.5 Servers and VC2.5. I have a spare 300Gb in local storage. Is it possible for me to share the space for the other ESX Servers to see? I am sure it is not possible but was wanting some input.

you need a 3rd part app like saniq from lefthand networks

Hi,

So i will be able to use DRS, HA and VCB if use this software from Lefthand Networks?

Wouldn't be recommended - if it does work at all. 3rd party mashups like this will lead to all kinds of problem let alone be incredibly slow.

Have 'shared' local storage on one host for the purpose of vMotion/HA is kind of defeating the point really. I would recommend to stay well away from doing anything like this... sorry!
