Hi!

How can I specify a custom port for SMTP (other than the default 25) in VirtualCenter 2.5? Unfortunately all posts I've found so far didn't lead to a solution.

I've tried to set it up with "IP-ADDRESS:PORT" in the Virtual Center Management Configuration and restarted the VC-Service. Alerts still won't be sent anyway.

The mailserver is reachable and I can successfully send eMails manually via OutlookExpress from the VC-Server.

thx

Haven't tried this, but can't you change the port by doing "mail.smtp.port = 25" ... Change 25 to the port you want to use instead ? I think it's in the advanced settings of VC ... Can't confirm at the moment though
