Ok, that would be it. My patience is over, all I can say vmware might be a great software developed by great people, but regarding fixing bug and replying comment, they are suck. All "not free" software supposed to have good undergoing customer support to keep the customer and to lure the new customer, but seems like vmware failed to do so. Anyway, since I haven bought the software yet , i think i will have to find other way around, I would say i am going to download the torrent for vmware in since I still think vmware is still a great software, i think it's a bit worthed rather than spending the money without getting the support we supposed to get. Luckily haven't fallen into the trap.

At last i downloaded vmware 6.01 and 6.02 at the same time and tried both of them, my desktop host is vista 64 and guest os is xp sp2. I found out last night , by using itunes 7.3.2.6 vmware only recognizes it as digital camera and freeze the itunes, but when using the latest itunes 7.4.3 it does recognize the iphone in the itunes (the first startup took along time) but not perfect as well... can see the iphone but can not synchronize it. I am not sure the symptom when using the latest itunes was because i am using firmware 1.0.2 in my iphone (the latest firmware is 1.1.1) or it's still the bug in the vmware that has not been completely resolved.  since i am not in the US it's not the best bet for me to upgrade the firmware to 1.1.1, since i heard that 1.1.1 might have additional feature but as well as increased the security and many homebrew doesn't work with the latest firmware, that's what i hate most. so i am just going to stay with my 1.0.2 for now. I hope there is another wayaround to make it work tho. If not all i can do is just synchronize the iphone with my laptop since it has xp installed in it. At least for now i am satisfied with this, since i got the vmware for free for both version...hehehe

I thought the vmware community is the forum for vmware user and developer. I think there is no one will have a better idea whether the bug is fixed in spesific version or not rather than the developer, don't u think ?

Not mentioning the phone fee for calling US from shanghai, don't u think it will be very helpful not only for me but also for other user to know the answer of my question if they are experiencing the same problem as mine , IF ONLY the employee of vmware give me that simple YES/NO question ?
