VM Memory Usage Alarm

I have an alarm for VM Memory Usage that was triggered yesterday. All is fine now on the performance tab, but the alarm is still showing on the VI3 console. How can I clear it? Why is it still there?

Hello,

Check the Memory usage graph. If the graph is still being updated it may actually be a VM that is using the memory. YOu can also compare that result to a direct login of the VI Client into the ESX server in question. Or even use esxtop to determine if what you are seeing is true. If it is not then you can restart hostd 'service mgmt-vmware restart'.

Best regards,

Edward

You might try re-starting the VI client, if that does not work you might have to re-start the VC service if you want it gone.

Thanks. I had issue with one VM and restarting VC server service cleared it.

It has even patch 2.
