Problem of uninstall VMware Player

Actually my VMware Player cannot find SLES something and run. So I deleted away VMware Player program first that I not needed any more, after that I click Add or remove programs to remove VMware Player but can't be removed and get the dialog box message Error 1316. A network error occurred while attempting to read from the file C:\WINDOWS\Installer\VMware Player.msi when I click Ok the Time remaining reversed back and getting dialog box Fatal error during installation that I can't removed away successfully. What should I do in order to solve this problem?

Run the Player installer with the /c switch to cleanup the install/uninstall.

Well, if you deleted the Player installer, there's not much more we can help you with. You might have luck using the VMware Cleaner (and other manual steps) found in knowledgebase article 1308.

Re: MD5 Sums--> On the download page for Player (and lots of other places around the 'net), are listed the MD5 checksums of each download file. You can run an MD5 check utility (I've got a pretty nice Windows one on my site - see profile for website) against the downloaded file, and compare the calculated checksum against the posted one. If they match, then your file is not corrupted and should be successful.

" Cleaning Up After Incomplete Uninstallation on a Windows Host"[/url]

The VMware_Install_Cleaner.exe is attached at the bottom of the article

Another option is to just download the VMware Player again and use the installer /c option

As we've said numerous times above: Run the installer with the /c switch!
