Hi,

I am very new to ESX and Linux so I am not familiar with all the commands.

We are testing ESX Server 3.0.x and trying to add NAS share with TCP/IP that uses our Active Directory authentication.

Our Network guys setup a shared folder on the NAS (Celerra) and added a AD user account to it for authentication. I found some commands about setting up Kerberos for domain name on the ESX server and a did that. I tried going into the VMWare Virutal Infrastructure Client 2.0 and adding the storage as a NFS. It did not ask for a username and password or give me the option of entering one. It came back saying:
NFS Error: Unable to Mount filesystem: The mount was denied by the NFS Server.

Is there a way for this to work?

Any ideas? Please remember I am new to this so please include any instructions or commands that are required.

Thanks

Hi,

Tried this and a few other things but still getting error along of the lines of "....Bad username or username/pasword pair in Tree...?

I guess it won't mount a CIFS NAS share?

Thanks
