Can anyone tell me what the model of the emulated network card is once Windows is installed? I am trying to do a network install of Windows and need to know what driver to have loaded.

The network card is an AMD PCNet Lance card. XP should already have the drivers for it on the install CD.

As Robert has pointed out the virtual network adapter is a AMD PCnet-PCI II compatible and your Windows install CD should already contain the driver, unless may be you are trying to install Vista

Although not officially supported by VMware, Fusion can also emulate an Intel PRO/1000 network adapter too. I have my XP machine on an e1000 and it works great.
