Use the command vmkfstools -X 18000M SANx:disk_d.vmdk
where 18000M is the size of the new disk in Mb (not the size you are increasing by but the end size), SANx is the SAN label and disk_d.vmdk is the name of the file. Make sure you use uppercase X as well.
Once extended though you will need to extend this inside of windows. If it is a dynamic disk this is easy or you may have to use the diskpart utility if W2K3.

Hi, thanks for the command. it works. However, does any know how to get it to work with Windows NT4 Server.
I need to extend the boot partition. Using Disk Administrator seems to extend the disk space OK. However, when I boot my server, it came up with "missing operating system"

Thanks

Well, first get the VM to boot again :) You have made a backup befor extending the disk, havnt you?

Then use something like partition magic or the cd from www.sysresccd.org to resize the filesystem in the disk file
