I'm trying to install Windows XP, Windows 7 and Windows 8 on a laptop running Ubuntu 13.04 using Workstation 9.
I'm able to install Workstation without any trouble, though I did run into the "License Key" issue and had to use the command line to enter my key.
Now that I have my key entered, I'm attempting to create the VM for Windows 8 (64-bit). When I try to start the VM, it does cause the disk to work but the screen is completely blank.
Note that I'm trying to create a fresh installation of Windows, and at this point I'm not able to start up the Windows Setup from my ISO file.
I've attempted the same thing using the Windows 7 installer, but same result as with Windows 8.
Some details about the computer and host operating system.

-- UPDATE DUE TO LACK OF RESPONSE --
I'm going to wipe that host and start over with an older version of Ubuntu. So any suggestions on getting it working won't be testable by me.
My plan for the next attempt, Ubuntu 12.04 LTS 64-bit on that same hardware and hopefully still the latest stable drivers from Nvidia.
