How to configure and monitor ActiveMQ 5.2

ActiveMQ 5.2 is not officially supported by Hyperic HQ 4.1.x, based on the documentation. As such, it is not auto discovered. It appears that support has been added to the 4.2 release of Hyperic (http://jira.hyperic.com/browse/HHQ-3091). Until then, is there a way to coerce Hyperic into monitoring AcitveMQ 5.2?

Hi,

You can download the plugin from svn:
http://svn.hyperic.org/projects/hq/trunk/plugins/xml/activemq-plugin.xml

Then copy over the server and agent's current version of the file. You'll need to restart the agent(s).

I am using AMS 2.0 to monitor my FuseMQ 5.3.0.4. I followed the steps that have been mentioned in this thread but I am still unable to get the metrics of my queue in AMS. Although it is detecting the queue names yet it does not show any metrics for it. Please advise what can be done.

P.S. I am using teh 90 day trial version of AMS.
