Another user posted this about a month ago, but I haven't seen any resolution or even acknowledgement of the problem from VMWare.
I am using the Tech Preview to connect to a Windows 7 64-bit image on a remote server, and it works fine except for when when I am in Lion full screen mode. After swiping to another OSX Space and doing some work there, I swipe back to the View Client space to discover that random mouse clicks have been sent to the View desktop and have performed unexpected (and unwanted) actions there.
This behavior never happens unless I am in Lion full screen mode. Because I am accessing my remote desktop from a MacBook Air, I prefer every available screen pixel rather than be limited to using View in a window on the OSX desktop.
Is this being addressed in the next maintenance release?
I will add that this behavior of spurious mouse clicks being handled by another space only occurs with View in full screen mode, not with any other Lion apps I've run in full screen mode.
Try updating vmware tools / reinstalling on the view client
I concur this is happening when switching from a Lion full-screen View Desktop to a different desktop, whether swiping on a trackpad or using Mission Control. The visual cue that it's happening is that after the switch away from the View Desktop the pointer intermittently appears as a white Windows "arrow" pointer rather than the black Mac arrow. The simple solution is to switch back to the View Desktop and then return to the desired Mac OS X desktop. But that's annoying.

Thanks for the tip, though. Watching for the pointer and swiping back and forth again, while a pain, seems to resolve the issue of mouse clicks being sent to the View desktop.
