First of all, it's a complete mess in Firefox.

I can not even browse selected forums list without scrolling the screen. When I tried to post this new discussion I had to scroll through ALL the possible forums. Hey, did you hire 7-year old web developer?

What the hell did you do to forum?!

Hi Anton,

Try clearing your cache!

  • If that doesn't clear it up, please let us know your browser and your OS.

Thanks

Eric, is the "My Communities" menu meant to be gone? I have All Communities, but not My Communities.

I also have the some problem with Anton, in that to get to a forum I have to select for example, General and then once there I can select one of the subforums.

Everything looks OK for me in Firefox except I can't find My Communities. I see same thing as your screenshot in Chrome when trying to login...

Hi Anton,

Yes, we have confirmed the menu navigation to be an issue and will work on a fix for the large drop down menu. If you have a scroll wheel, you
won't see this, but if you don't, you need to use arrow keys, and that is a problem.

We are looking for feedback on the mycommunities feature, it didn't get ported, but we would consider porting it if people
express interest in the mycommunities feature. The traffic numbers indicated almost no one was using it, so it didn't rank
high on our porting list.

Thanks

Eric

I suppose time of 15" LCDs is already gone,

Unfortunately not, I am stuck with a 15" monitor with a whopping 1024x768 resolution. The old layout was a pain in the butt to navigate and now i've lost a tonne more real-estate with the new layout. At least the site displays correctly at home.

Cheers

Kevin

Hey Anton,

I agree 100%. As for names I think that they did it to prevent the communites from being displayed incorrectly. Every few months people would create logins that are 50+ chars long and it screws up the thread display. I'd say 20 chars should be enough and it would accomidate your name ;)

Cheers

Kevin

I like the new redesign even if it seems a bit messy and hard to find at the moment. However Anton is right about the width of the layout, everything is now so cramped together and the actual text in the threads is hard to read. For longer discussions with lots of text this will get quite annoying. I hope you'll consider doing something about it.
