Installation Error-Failed to create database tables posted: May 27, 2009 4:00 PM

During the installation of SRM, I receive the following error:

Failed to create database tables. Details: DB does not contain SRM schema: VdbError: Column name does not exist in table dr_product_info

The SRM documentation states the schema name must be the same as the DB user name which I have verified. Does anyone have a fix for this error?

This is the error you get when the user who is connecting to the DB is not the
owner of the DB. Because of this, the
user does not have the privileges to view some columns in the table.

If you change the owner of the DB to the user that you are using to connect to the DB, then you should be able to complete the installation.

I have the same problem,I have modified that the SRM database 's permission is db_owner.can you share your practice?TKS

Today,I try to modify the SRM database for SQL SERVER 2005,security--login--server roles--set the following permission:
bulk insert,connect,create table,create view.
reference to 'Site Recovery Manager Administration Guide'.resolve the problem.
