Ok - I used the connector today to move a physical machine to a virtual machine I created using the Infrastructure Client connecting to my esx 3i server

the pysical machine I moved had 200 gb of disk space and 150 gb free.

The connector would not allow me to choose a virtual machine I had already created before starting the connector and instead created a new VM with 200 gb of space allocated.

Is there anyway to reduce the amount of disk space allocated after a machine has been moved?

thanks in advance

Jeff

Yes - create new disk with the size you want and add it to the existing VM. Boot into LiveCD and clone disk to disk with ghost32 for example.

You can also use Converter again but that is very likely slower
