Hi there,

i took the design exam today, but i experienced some strange things.

First of all, some operation were missing on some drag and drop parts, afterwards some strange questions on how change hardware without downtime ... with some bug answers too ....

then i did not have extra time as i'm a french guy .... with all that english text and scenarios i had to read 5 or 6 times.

and the last but not the least, how can i have the results just at the end of the exam?? A VMware examinator was hidden in the computer to evaluate the second part "viso" design? :)

so my score was 290 and the passing score is 300. So without 2 or 3 bugged question i guess i could pass it, but how is the design part evaluated? automatically?

i think this exam is very weird compared to the enterprise level, although i think the design exam is easier than the enterprise level. That's why i'm wondering how could i failed as i pass the enterprise with one try:)

In conclusion, i hope the design part has been taken into account as i don't want to retake this exam!!!

thank you for reading

I don't have answer for you question about the exam, maybe the certification team can help you.

To have extra time for non-english, you must register to the exam by phone and not using the Web. I got the information to late because I don't get this information before my exam. (see http://communities.vmware.com/thread/223736?tstart=0)

Yes, I did receive the result right after the exam.
As far as I know it has not been revealed how they evaluate the design part.

Yeah I also had questions that were missing obvious answers. I commented on them but that was about it. Before I tryed to help vmware on the ent exam I had a big mistake on a lab question. I emailed I called (Never got a single word back on it). So on this one all I did was leave a comment. I will not email or call since this was not followed up with anything.
