Domain Controller VM with DHCP/DNS posted: Nov 6, 2009 11:53 AM

I just recently converted my domain controllers to virtual machines. I ran a DNS scavenge this morning and lost a lot of records. Now when the PCs and printers get back on the network they get DHCP addresses, but nothing will register in DNS. I ran an ipconfig /registerdns on my own PC, but it still doesn't show up in DNS. I don't know if this has anything to do with it being recently converted to a vm or if this is just a Microsoft issue. Has anyone seen this before?

Thanks,
Scott
