Team,
I have a VM made in workstation 5. When i use converter to move it to esx3.5i im getting the error FAILED:unable to connect to the virtual disk. And in the log highlights it says ERROR: Failed to clone disk0 on the virtual machine.
Any ideas what im doing wrong?

Its using SCSI from what i can tell
scsi0.present = "TRUE"
scsi0.virtualDev = "lsilogic"
scsi0:0.present = "TRUE"
scsi0:0.fileName = "VM10.vmdk"
Any other ideas?

I have found at times that I needed to take it in several steps. If it doesn't work one way try another. I assume this is a linux VM? If you have X then try the linux version of the converter.
Try converting to an appliance and then importing the appliance to ESXi. Make sure you have the current version of Converter Version 4.
this is a windows machine....i downloaded the latest version of converter today.
I also tried to to use vkmfstools and conver the disk but i still cant see the disk
any ideas?
