Is there any (official) news about this possible certification?

There is no title called "Master VCP". However there is a certification called "VCDX", you can find more information here: http://mylearn.vmware.com/mgrReg/plan.cfm?plan=9657&ui=www

Interesting, I was not aware of a possible "Master VCP" title.., I will probably just stick to the VCDX path instead to be honest...

From the little information i have heard you would become a Master
VCP on your way to VCDX if it truly becomes reality.

So the "Master VCP" will not exist?

But there is no similar info in VMware site.
