I need re-direct my current VUM to a different vCenter without re-installing VUM. How can this be done?

Interesting.....not sure that is possible. If it is the first step would be to run a repair from add/remove programs. From there you can specify the other VC servername/ip address and the user name to connect. You will need to setup a new DSN as well.
