First all thanks for your answers.

What I'm trying to do is indeed incorporate a packaged browser (or browser like) component inside a web page.
The web page is just a package it this case, meaning I can assure that the iexplore.exe or whatever package I've developed is deployed onto the users machine.
In that regards he or she can use it as their own secure web browser.

I need to embed the package into an object I can then wrap into other applications.
We're looking into ThinApp as a way to have a secure browser option for our users.

Is there other options? Like adding some kind of sandbox into a .NET WebBrowser component?
The final solution should enable me some duplex communication channel, meaning that I can point this browser externally to a new URL and the browser should be able to fire an event when it's URL changes.
