Hi toghether,

I just searched the community but can´t find useful information for my problem.

I´m using ESX 2.5.3 and have a guest VM running Windows 2003 standard.

The vmware.log for this guest writes the following entry approx. one time a minute.

Oct 15 14:13:39: vcpu-0| VIDE: ATAPI DMA 0x25 Failed: key 0x2, asc 0x3a, ascq 0x0
Oct 15 14:13:39: vcpu-1| VIDE: ATAPI DMA 0x25 Failed: key 0x2, asc 0x3a, ascq 0x0

Can anyone help me with interpreting this message?

Thanks in advance

Regards

bastilyk
