LCM Version is Version 1.0.2 Build 4415
Orchestrator version is 4.0.0.4439

Of the 4 vCenter servers 3 are 2.5 U4 including the working server and the other is U3

looking at the log on vCO Server there is an error corresponding to the time when i attempt to browse one of the now working VC servers
2009-10-05 11:03:36.291+0100 ERROR VimSession getOrCreateVimObject() --> Unable to get Vim class for 'Folder'

there is one of these entries for each VC server

No nothing obvious between the 3 we do try and keep them within our standard, so the accout i am using for vCO and access to LCM are full admins on the 4 servers (local Windows admin and full VC admin)

I added them the same way as the Test VC server (added certificate, restarted vCO, added vCenter server) all menu's are green in vCO configuration
doing a "test connection" on the 3 VC servers in vCO all report test sucsessfull.

i amended the log file to output all and it does capture extra info (not sure if it is of any use, however please see attached file.

Thanks all for your help, i had been restarting the vCO config server and vCO services between each change to no avail.

so i decided to strip out the 3 problematic servers, and restart the server and add them one at a time, restarting the services at each server addition and testing the connection.

2 of the 3 worked first time, however i still have issue browsing one of the servers (again all the SSL certs and servers added and tested sucsessfully from the vCO configurator)

the only way to get the last one working was to use the IP address rather than the name of the server, once i amended this the server resources is now browsable in lifecycle manager.
