I've been using VWware ACE for over a year or so but have had an ongoing issue with it. Randomly i get an error on first boot after installation stating that the enhanced keyboard is in an undefined state or something similar. Recently i received the attached error as well. I have been in touch with VW support and they informed me to remove the tick from options for the enhanced keyboard, click ok, reopen the options box and place the tick back on the enhanced keyboard. This has not made any difference.

Has anyone else been experiencing a similar issue? It has gotten to the point now where we are beginning to think that ACE just has too many bugs still and is not as ready as we had hoped or we are wanting to use it in a way in which it is not designed.

I work at school that offers a full laptop program and this was seen to be a great alternative for machines that were bought from outside the school supplied package. Especially for those machines from our boarding students who bring varied machines from all around the world!
