Update: So far it is working just fine. It has been up for almost 9 hours now without any network issues.

Hi Everyone,
Just wanted to let you know I was having a lot of trouble with both of my 2WIRE AT&T routers in XP VM.Funny thing is it worked fine everywhere else, even McDonnell's The sudo /Library/Application\ Support/VMware\ Fusion/boot.sh --restart seams to have fixed this. Thanks for the tip.
