I upgraded kernel on my CentOS box and after reboot, the vmware-config.pl doesn't want compile some modules and stop the compilation process.

I attach the output.txt.

Any workaround/patch to allow vmware rerun under this kernel version?

Regards

Pardon the ignorance - where is the original vmnet.tar that needs to be replaced? I copied the .tar.gz version of VMware Tools, expanded it, but no vmnet.tar within. There is a vmxnet.tar and a vmxnet3.tar, however.

I'm having the same problem as the original poster, and it's failing on the compilation of the driver for both vmxnet and vmxnet3.
