Well as the title states I was wondering if anyone knew what the most forum points ever accumulated in a running week. As it stands it AndreTheGiant is really living up to the Giant in his name and is pushing 1300points. Can anyone top that?

Cheers

Kevin

I think I can easily top that... But in my opinion it's also about quality and not only quantity.

yeah I know, I'm a grumpy fellow.

Back in the day I could have fairly easily I think, for a few reasons:
1) It wasn't unusual or difficult for me to accumulte a few hundred points per DAY. It really boiled down to users who would properly award points for correct or helpful answers.
2) The Web 1.0 forums were much faster, and thus more efficient for point farming.
3) There weren't nearly as many experts posting around here which allowed me to field a large quantity of questions.
4) I was highly active. Those who remember will note that I was providing VMware support on the VMTN forums before and after my first child's birth using the hospital kiosk workstation in the waiting room.

Let's connect the dots: VMTN is nothing more than a VMware support version of a MMORPG. :)

Thanks, I hope to help someboby.

Just wondering what kind of day job you have, cause you must spend at least 6 hrs a day here :-)

In this last month I have not much work (my work load change very much during the year).
So I use the extra time to study the new version of products and follow the community.

Just a tip:
  • if you want to add something to a reply don't reply again but use the "edit" button. Some topics are just flooded with replies when it could have been added to the same reply.
