What is you desktop system? I suppose that you are using a x64 OS?

Short note: I ran ESXi4 RC inside WS6.0, too. Not sure whether powering on VMs works tho.

What is you desktop system? I suppose that you are using a x64 OS?

No - on my 64bit machine I use BartPE as operating system
