how can i customize the tasks & event viewer to by default show me the events of the last weeked ?

If think is not (directly) possible.

Maybe with SDK.

Hello,

Is this within the VM? The vCenter Server? or within the VIC? that you want to view things? Event Viewer means a few different things.

Hello,

Unfortunately you can not. If you are using vCenter Server you can write some custom SQL Queries or use 3rd party products such as Reflex VMC.

If you do not have vCenter then you would need to parse the /var/log/vmware/hostd.log file.
