On my harddisk, there are three partitions. XP, Leopard, and another partition, called "Data", it's NTFS.

When I boot XP with vmware fusion, I can't see the partition "Data"

I googled, and found we could do this by modifing Boot Camp partition.vmdk and Boot Camp partition-pt.vmdk manually.

But is there any easier way , like just making the right settings when we create vmware machine ??

I can't help you with the specifics of how to make this other partition available to your VM. This link is for a GUI tool that makes editing the .vmx file a bit easier. Hopefully using this will prevent you from getting tripped up on syntax problems.

That's a real good way to trash a hard drive! You should not be editing those files!

First read the following link: Re: New Boot Camp Entry Every Reboot?

Then have a look at this link for an overview of what you need to do: Re: harddisk not found
