Hello! I've been using VMWare Fusion for nearly a year now and really love it. Upgraded to 2.0 and now I'm cycling continuously through a very fast blue screen (so fast I can't catch it with Grab or other screen shot methods to actually read what it says) then it reboots. I tried going back to an earlier Time Machine of Fusion (Oct 20th) that was still 2.0 but same thing happened. It gets to the Welcome to Windows startup screen, goes black, the screen shrinks and I see the fast blue screen, then it tries to reboot. Entire cycle takes about 10 seconds. If I power it off, I can rarely get the option to start in safe mode, or normal or last known working - none of them have been successful.
Tried to get into the BIOS but was apparently unable to set it to boot from the Windows XP CD.
Tried going back to Fusion 1.1.3 (via Time Machine) and reinstalling 2.0 but same thing happens.
Before I rip everything off and start over, is there a way to recover the documents in the Windows environment? I thought Time Machine was doing this for me, but apparently not?
Sorry about the very basic/stupid questions. Thank you!!
