Thanks for the reminder about this, Wil. I have a fix, but it hasn't been implemented yet, because I need to schedule the deployment of the fix with our IT department.
For those interested, the root cause is a threading issue that has only affected one other Jive customer besides VMware. A shared resource is used to store the request to send the email notification, and it was getting occasionally overwritten before the notification is sent. Jive gave us patch that locks the shared resource until the message is sent.
I may need to bundle this fix with another fix that will enable some new functionality. And this is Thanksgiving week (Thursday & Friday holiday) in the US, so I may not be able to get this implemented immediately. I'll post again when the patch is live.
