VCDX Design Exam

Figured I would start a thread on the Design Exam... Anyone have any good study spots??

There will be course material out soon, I will be doing the Exam next week... Don't know when it will be general available.

I don´t think that there is a "Read-this-book-to-pass-the-exam"-book. I will be relying heavely on both the VAC material and I guess i'll have to get my ITIL straightend out too. Guess that VMware best practice on different issues is paramount.

A lot of it looks like the stuff that only solid expirience will give you. But then again this might make the exam a cool one to have, instead of the "Read the book - take the test" stuff.

I don't mean "read the book pass the exam". Jason Langdon had set up a site on wordpress for study topics surrounding the enterprise admin exam. It was a good idea that didn't go very far, but it was a good idea.

You are correct dconvery, it didn't go very far. I'm hoping now that the summer is over people will be in the mood wo help build this wordpress into a better study tool.

Hi Jason -

Do you have plans on adding a Design Exam Section to it? I still think it is a good idea, just a lack of participation... If not, I will try to start one this week.

The Design Exam Blueprint is available in the Documents section of this forum. We will also be launching a VI3:Design course very soon that is the recommended course to take when preparing for this exam. I will update the forum when it is available.
