Sorry my bad,
We are launching the line tool or virtual machine via a bash script being called by a launchd user daemon at startup with a 30 sec. delay.
This gives us the virtual machine starting without having anybody physically logged in to the host server (the way we prefer to run it).
If this is possible?
I tried running this as a system daemon running under root (at least that what Activity Monitor said it was running under) I even reinstalled under root to make sure that wasnt the problem.
The current permissions of the directory are: rwx r_x r_x for the admin user.
the only item inside this directory is another directory titled preferences with the permissions of rw_ _ _.
