I am running VMWare 2.0 Build 116369 on OSX Tiger Server 10.4.11 I am virtualizing Red Hat Enterprise 5 64bit
I am automatically launching the virtual machine from the VMWare command line tool
When VMWare starts up I get the following message:
VMWare Fusion needs to store user preferences and other information in the directory "~/Library/Preferences/VMWare Fusion".
Do you want to continue although VMWare Fusion was unable to create that directory?
I select that I do and to not show the error again.
But it still pops up after a restart and stops VMWare from launching automatically
I have read that launching VMWare from 3rd party apps such as Quicksilver will sometimes create this error
But I am launching it directly from the command line tool.
Has anybody else had a similar issue? Any help is greatly appreciated
