I know in other versions of VMWare like Workstation you can disable the DHCP service, but this is not possible in Fusion. Is there a way to manually remove or disable the vmnet interfaces though? I don't really need the functionality as far as I know, and my manager is giving us a hard time regarding the 192.168.x.x presence our Fusion equipped machines are creating. At the very least is it possible to have the vmnet interfaces grab 172.x.x.x addresses?

Thanks

VMware
You can disable them, but there's currently no GUI to do this. See How to modify Fusion network settings whitepaper and Scripts to manage Fusion network settings.
