Mainboard: Intel DG33TL
CPU: Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600, Quad Core, 2.4 GHz, 2x4MB
Memory: 8GB (2x Kingston KVR667D2N5K2/4G)
NIC: 2x Intel PRO/1000PT Desktop BULK
Disk-Controller: Adaptec RAID 31605
Disk: 4x 2.5" 80 GB SATA Fujitsu
1x 3.5" 250GB IDE (connected via ide2sata adapter to the Adaptec controller)
2x 3.5" 500GB SATA Samsung
Case: Aplus CS-Blockbuster BA
Backplane: SNT-2131SATA Jou Jye Computer
when i have time i will try to see if i can use my gigabyte I-RAM on the mainborad SATA ports, the I-RAM don't work on the Adaptec controller.
Disks 2.5" 250GB i have from Samsung are working are not useable on HW Raid Controller, they drop off from the SATA bus.
the onboard nic is not useable on 3xi, maybe i will try to add the pci id to see if it can work as en e1000.
be aware that the Mainboard does not have PS2 connector's (i did the failure to disable the usb ports in the bios, so
how you can administrate the bios without a keyboard
best regards,
Ivan
Hi I was wondering if you had any issues getting the DG33TL to see all four cores?
I have DG33BU which comes with PS2 ports, LOL.
Q6600, 2*4G RAM, onboard NIC is not supported but I added Intel pro 1000 PT and GT nics. Onboard SATA controller is working but I store VMs on NFS.
Don't bother with pci id file, onboard 82566MM requires e1000e driver which is not included.
I have the same mobo, but encounter a problem: when 4GB is installed and I install a Dell Perc 5/i RAID controller, the system won't boot. Only with 2GB or 3GB the system boots fine. Any clue about a possible cause?
Is it all the same kind and speed of memory?
Yep. Originally 4 x 1GB Twinmos, 4 identical modules. Yesterday bought me 2x2GB KingstonValueRam 2GB modules, identical, officially listed for this mobo.
