Hello -

I tried to place a VM and it failed. The following error was in the server log:

WARN WorkflowItemTaskRunner Script execution error on workflow : Placement V2 (Try Automapping) / 'Get Timezone in Number'(item11). : TypeError: Cannot read property "id" from null

I ended up reinitializing the plug-ins to get them to work. Anyone know why this would happen?

Dave

OK...now it seems like i have to restart the server or reinitialize the plugins at least once per week to get things working. Is there something I can check somewhere that would give me a clue about this?

Dave

Hi Dave,
Do you have any errors in the server.log files ? This warning may be the consequence of a previous error.

That was one of the errors that I noted in the first post. It turned out that somehow the timezone was not set up. The latest error was about money. My base money (USD) had somehow become unset. I am still trying to figure out weather it is in VMO or the database. I am only on site twice per week.

Did you try to set it from the configuration tab / Edit Format ?

Yes. That is where I had to REset it. I originally set it through the initial setup wizard. Is there a way for me to reinitialize the database and run the setup again? It is an MSSQL DB. The DBAs are not always available to recreate a nfresh DB for us.

If you want to clean everything you can always connect through SQL query and drop the tables and then get back to the configuration and click on install database.
There is also a "Big cleaning" workflow in the test workflow directory. It may not work in all cases but you may want to try it if your setup is for test purposes only.
