This package contains Workflows and Actions that are used in the free videos on www.vmwarelearning.com (See the full list of available videos here: http://blogs.vmware.com/education/2012/12/free-vmware-vcenter-orchestrator-instructional-videos.html...)
You can use them to reproduce the demonstrations and examples showed there.
To import the package:
1. Open the vCO Client, and connect it to your vCO Server.
2. Select the "Design" view.
3. Select the "Packages" Tab.
4. Click on the "Import Package" Icon.
5. Select the downloaded package file.
6. (If necessary) Accept the SSL certificate by clicking on "Accept Once".
7. Check that the Actions and Workflows are selected to be imported.
8. Click to "Import selected elements".
(See also: http://pubs.vmware.com/vsphere-51/topic/com.vmware.vsphere.vco_using_client.doc/GUIDD3CC26B9-10A9-4C...)
You then should have a new folder "Training Resources" in your Workflow Library, and a new module called "com.training.resources" in the Actions.
Some of these workflows are incomplete?
the foreach(create new Virtual machine network portgroup on ESXI host) & report snapshots of virtual machine schema's are not finished?
Thanks for the feedback!
I uploaded a new version of the package, without the "Report Snapshots..." Workflow (that was some leftover from a removed module).
The "Create VM Portgroup on all Hosts inCluster using for-each element" should be complete and fully functional.
Cheers,
Joerg
Thanks Joerg keep up the great work
This training was excellent! Thank you and keep up the great work. Is there anyway to "publish" a workflow so that users can see it?
You can use the integration of vCO into the vSphere Web Client. See here for details: vSphere 5.1 Web client - The single pane of glass I always wanted
Cheers,
Joerg
